Talladega County, AL – A series of arrests by the Talladega County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force has resulted in four individuals facing drug trafficking charges, according to new court records. Authorities say these operations targeted illegal drug distribution across the county, leading to multiple arrests and ongoing investigations.
Arrest Details
Brittany Shaunta Martin
Brittany Shaunta Martin, of Center Point, was arrested on Thursday, September 18, after allegedly selling, delivering, or transporting 56 grams or more of synthetic cathinones near Highway 77 in Lincoln. Synthetic cathinones are human-made stimulants commonly known as bath salts. Court documents also indicate she attempted to bribe an undercover agent she believed worked inside the jail.
Martin faces multiple charges, including:
- Drug trafficking
- Distribution of a controlled substance
- Bribery of a public servant
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
She is currently booked in the Talladega County Jail.
Eric Ryan Rayfield
Eric Ryan Rayfield was arrested on Tuesday, September 16, in Sylacauga near Kimberly Road. Authorities claim he knowingly sold, manufactured, or delivered 28 grams or more of methamphetamine. Rayfield is also accused of unlawfully possessing marijuana and carrying a firearm despite a prior violent crime conviction.
His charges include:
- Drug trafficking
- Possession of marijuana
- Certain persons forbidden to carry a firearm
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
He remains booked in the Talladega County Jail.
Robert Allan Fulmer
Robert Allan Fulmer was arrested on Wednesday, September 17, in Sylacauga near N. Norton Avenue. He allegedly sold 56 grams or more of a synthetic controlled substance known as ‘spice’. Fulmer is also accused of attempting to elude law enforcement and possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Charges against him include:
- Drug trafficking
- Possession of a controlled substance
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Attempting to elude law enforcement
As per reports, he is booked in the Talladega County Jail.
Latisha Danielle Thornberry
Latisha Danielle Thornberry was also arrested on Wednesday, September 17, in Sylacauga, near the same location as Fulmer. Authorities allege she attempted to sell a synthetic controlled substance, as well as possessing ice, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia.
Her charges include:
- Drug trafficking
- Possession of a controlled substance
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Thornberry is booked in the Talladega County Jail.
