Rutherford County, NC – A search of a residence and camper on Highway 226 in Bostic led to the seizure of controlled substances, multiple firearms, and over $9,000 in cash, resulting in the arrest of Landyn Millwood, according to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO).
Search Conducted Following Community Complaints
Investigators carried out a knock-and-talk search, which allows officers to obtain consent without a warrant or probable cause. The operation was conducted after multiple community complaints about suspected criminal activity in the area.
During the search, deputies seized a total of 10 firearms, including:
- Glock
- Draco
- Delton
- Panzer Arms
- Smith & Wesson
Officials also confiscated controlled substances, including:
- Marijuana, 50.35 grams
- THC wax, 354.35 grams
- Alprazolam (Xanax), 42 dosage units
- Diazepam, 4 dosage units
- Numerous THC vape products and paraphernalia
Other items seized included $9,203 in cash, firearm cases, and multiple magazines, as per WLOS.
Charges and Bond
Millwood was charged with multiple offenses, including:
- Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule VI (Marijuana)
- Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, or Deliver THC Wax
- Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule IV (Xanax)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He is currently being held under a $15,000 secured bond, the RCSO said.
