Salt Lake City, UT – A Mexican national involved in large-scale drug trafficking was sentenced to five years imprisonment in Utah after an extensive FBI investigation uncovered significant quantities of illegal narcotics in his possession.
Kevin Enrique Sanchez-Carillo, 25, pleaded guilty in June and was sentenced on Sunday in the U.S. District Court in Utah. Along with the 60-month prison term, the judge ordered the forfeiture of $7,750 in cash and his 9mm handgun, underscoring the severity of the charges brought against him.
