Spring Hill, FL — A morning bus ride turned chaotic at JD Floyd Elementary School on Friday when a Hernando County man reportedly boarded a school bus unlawfully, threatening the driver and attendants before being arrested by authorities.

According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, Alvon Corley, who has a child on the bus, climbed aboard around 8:45 a.m. near the intersection of Anderson Snow Road and Edward R. Noll Drive. Deputies say Corley refused to exit the bus, standing in the doorway and blocking the vehicle from continuing its route.
“I’ll go back and get my [expletive] gun,” witnesses reportedly heard Corley say before he finally exited the bus, according to the sheriff’s office.
The incident left students and staff shaken, though no physical injuries were reported. The bus driver and attendant were verbally confronted with profanity and threats, creating a stressful environment during the normally routine school commute.
