Carmel, IN – The Carmel Police Department (CPD) has arrested five juveniles as part of its investigation into a weekend shooting on Golfview Drive, officials announced.
Police were called to the 1100 block of Golfview Drive around 5:30 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds, who was later transported to a hospital for treatment. His condition has not been publicly disclosed.
Suspects Fled Scene Before Arrests
According to CPD, several suspects fled the scene shortly after the shooting. By Sunday night, investigators had located and arrested five juveniles believed to have been involved in the incident.
The department is withholding the suspects’ names but has released their ages and charges.

Suspect 1 (17 years old):
- Robbery resulting in serious bodily injury
- Aggravated battery posing a substantial risk of death
- Attempted murder
- Pointing a firearm at another
- Dangerous possession of a firearm
- Intimidation

Suspect 3 (17 years old):

Prosecution Decision Pending
The Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office will determine whether the juveniles will be charged as adults. CPD has not disclosed any further details on the circumstances of the shooting or the motive behind it as reported by Fox59.
