Payson, UT – Authorities in Payson are asking for the public’s assistance after a hit-and-run incident damaged a woman’s new car, which she had received as a Christmas gift, according to the Payson Police Department.
Incident Details
Police report that an unknown driver in a white, newer-model Ram pickup with tinted windows struck the parked vehicle on Thursday morning, causing significant damage to the driver’s side headlight and bumper.
The homeowner confronted the suspect immediately after the crash, but the individual reportedly fled the scene at a high rate of speed, authorities said.

Investigators believe the vehicle may have Idaho license plates. Police have released images and video footage of the pickup in hopes of identifying the driver.
In a social media post, the Payson Police Department urged the public to provide tips, stating:
“If you know who this may be based on that fresh new damage on your neighbor’s, friend’s or enemy’s driver’s side headlight and bumper, drop [us] a hint! We really, really need to find this person.”
