Waldorf, MD – Two Waldorf residents were arrested following a narcotics and firearms investigation at an apartment on Gallery Place, leading to the seizure of large quantities of drugs, firearms, and cash, authorities report.
Search Warrant Executed
Officers from the Narcotics Enforcement Section and the Neighborhood Enforcement Team, with assistance from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Team, executed a search and seizure warrant on December 22, 2025, at an apartment in the 3000 block of Gallery Place in Waldorf.
The warrant was part of an ongoing investigation into suspected drug distribution activity. Investigators were authorized to search the residence, the occupants, and a black Hyundai Sonata associated with the apartment.
Drugs and Drug Equipment Recovered
During the search, investigators recovered over $15,000 worth of drugs, including:
- Approximately five ounces of suspected phencyclidine (PCP)
- Over 70 grams of cocaine and crack cocaine
- MDMA (ecstasy)
Additionally, investigators seized drug production and packaging equipment, including digital scales, droppers, glass vials, and other materials commonly used in the manufacture and distribution of drugs. Officers also recovered over $3,000 in cash, much of it folded, which authorities say is consistent with proceeds from street-level drug sales.

Investigators noted that PCP mixed with tobacco flakes, commonly called “dippers,” was found throughout the residence, including inside glass jars in the master bedroom where 25-year-old Rekeia Myshay Reid was located.
Firearms Seized
During the search, authorities recovered three firearms, including:
- Two 9mm handguns, one of which was identified as a ghost gun without a serial number
- One AR-15–style firearm with loaded high-capacity magazines
D’Vontay Keron Allen, 24, told investigators he had multiple firearms inside his bedroom, stored in a locked safe, and admitted to assembling a 9mm ghost gun from parts purchased in another state.
Arrests and Charges
Rekeia Myshay Reid, 25, was charged with:
- Possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances
- Possession of drug production equipment
- Related drug offenses
Following her initial court appearance on December 23, 2025, Reid was held without bond at the Charles County Detention Center.
D’Vontay Keron Allen was charged with firearms violations, including possession of a firearm without a required serial number. He was released pending electronic monitoring after his court appearance.
Investigation Details
Court records state that when questioned, Reid claimed she did not recall the events and said she comes and goes from the residence. Allen provided voluntary statements acknowledging the firearms and the safe in his bedroom, and confirmed he understood his Miranda rights.
Authorities report that the apartment and vehicle searches were coordinated as part of a larger effort to target drug distribution activity in Waldorf, and that the volume of drugs and firearms recovered represents a significant disruption to illegal operations.
