Harris County, TX – A large-scale narcotics investigation involving multiple Houston-area law enforcement agencies has resulted in the seizure of nearly 300 pounds of illegal drugs, multiple firearms, and the arrest of a 36-year-old man believed to be a key distributor in the region.
Multi-Agency Operation Targets Drug Distribution Network
Authorities say the investigation came together after intelligence pointed to a major illegal drug distribution operation in Harris County. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Special Operations Unit partnered with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Team, the DEA Houston, and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office to dismantle the operation.
Court records reveal investigators obtained search warrants for two locations believed to be central to the operation: a suspected “trap house” apartment used for drug storage on Stuebner Airline Road and a private residence on River Mill Drive.
Suspect Arrested Following Surveillance Stop
On Wednesday, investigators observed Zachary Disorbo, 36, leaving the Stuebner Airline Road apartment. Authorities conducted a traffic stop shortly afterward.
According to court documents, deputies discovered 42.56 grams of methamphetamine pills and 20.72 grams of crystal meth on Disorbo’s person. A search of his vehicle also uncovered 0.0408 ounces of marijuana, further strengthening the case against him.
Disorbo was immediately taken into custody as investigators moved forward with executing search warrants at both locations tied to the alleged operation.
Staggering Amount of Drugs Found Inside ‘Trap House’
What authorities uncovered inside the Stuebner Airline Road apartment was described as a major narcotics stockpile. Officials reported finding an extensive assortment of illegal drugs packaged for distribution, including:
- 18.5 kilograms of methamphetamine pills
- 5,536 grams of Xanax
- 510 grams of ketamine
- 568 grams of cocaine
- 328 grams of mixed MDMA and ketamine
- 540 grams of psychedelic mushrooms
- 5,700 grams of unknown pressed pills
- 1.2 kilograms of MDMA
- 1,536 ounces of promethazine
- 93.5 pounds of marijuana
- 21 pounds of THC gummies
- 86.5 pounds of THC wax
In addition to the drugs, investigators seized a large amount of U.S. currency and three loaded firearms, underscoring the dangerous nature of the operation.
Authorities estimate the total weight of narcotics recovered exceeds 250 pounds, making it one of the more significant drug seizures in the area in recent months.
Serious Charges and High Bond Set
Following the discovery, Disorbo was formally charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. He also faces an additional charge of possession of marijuana.
Due to the scale of the operation and the quantity of drugs involved, a judge set Disorbo’s bond at $1.1 million for all three charges combined.
He is currently being held at the Harris County Jail, according to booking records.

Court officials confirmed that Disorbo is expected to appear before a judge on Friday, where prosecutors are likely to outline the full scope of the investigation and potential penalties.
