Pollocksville, NC – A tragic early-morning crash on Tuesday, December 16, claimed the lives of two men and left a woman seriously injured along 10 Mile Fork Road, authorities reported. Troopers say the crash happened around 2:32 a.m., involving a Dodge Charger traveling eastbound when it ran off the roadway and overturned multiple times in a nearby field.
Driver Dies at Scene
Aaron Overman, 23, of Havelock, was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash. Investigators confirmed that he was wearing a seatbelt, but tragically, he died at the scene.
Passenger Ejected, Dies at Scene
A passenger, 31-year-old Bradley Cass of New Bern, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover. He also died at the scene, according to the Highway Patrol.

A second passenger, 29-year-old Courtney Rhodes, suffered serious injuries in the crash. Rhodes was transported to ECU Health in Greenville for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.
