The Valdosta Police Department (VPD) confirmed that a woman was taken into custody following an investigation led by their specialized Narcotics Unit.

Detectives had been monitoring suspected drug activity in the area for several weeks when the investigation led them to an apartment on the 400 block of West Mary Street. Officers executed a search at the residence, where Erin Peeler, 23, was reportedly present.
During the operation, police seized a significant quantity of illegal substances, including approximately 61 grams of methamphetamine pressed into 200 pills and nearly 780 grams of marijuana. Law enforcement also recovered a firearm and several drug-related tools, indicating that the apartment may have been used as a base for distribution.

- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (felony)
- Possession of drug-related objects (misdemeanor)
