Lake Charles, LA – Authorities arrested three individuals following a shooting at a nightclub in Lake Charles early Sunday morning, law enforcement officials said. No injuries were reported during the incident.

Shooting Reported at Nightclub

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) responded around 2:30 a.m. Sunday to a report of shots fired inside a nightclub on Common Street. Investigators confirmed that a firearm was discharged inside the establishment, though thankfully, no patrons were injured.

Suspects and Charges

Cameron B. Charles, 26, of Pearland, Texas, faces multiple charges, including:

  • Aggravated assault with a firearm
  • Illegal use of a weapon
  • Possession of a firearm on the premises of an alcoholic beverage outlet
  • Aggravated criminal damage to property

Charles later turned himself in to CPSO and was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on a $357,500 bond.

Brionna M. Moore, 25, and Henry J. Chretien, 34, both from Lake Charles, were arrested at a residence on Stingray Drive following a search warrant. They face multiple drug and weapon charges:

  • Two counts of possession of Schedule I drugs with intent to distribute
  • Three counts of possession of Schedule II drugs
  • Illegal carrying of a weapon during the commission of a crime or in the presence of drugs

Chretien also faces an additional charge for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Both Moore and Chretien were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center, though their bond amounts are still pending.

Officials said the investigation into the nightclub shooting remains active, with authorities continuing to review evidence and interview potential witnesses to determine the full circumstances of the incident.
