According to the Alabama State Troopers, Perez was driving a small SUV when it collided head-on with a vehicle operated by 64-year-old Eric Ousley of Union Springs, Alabama. Following the initial impact, Perez’s SUV was struck by a third vehicle, driven by 23-year-old Kelsey Bozeman of Fitzpatrick, Alabama.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Perez was pronounced dead at the site of the collision. Both Ousley and Bozeman were transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment. Officials have not released information regarding the severity of their injuries.
