“Yes, it’s a single vehicle that crashed into the barrier. The vehicle subsequently caught on fire,” Sliva said. The fire created a dangerous situation for both the occupants and passing motorists, as the flames and smoke partially obscured the roadway and caused drivers to slow abruptly.
Occupants Hospitalized in Stable Condition
Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital and are reported to be in stable condition, as per KUTV. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and thankfully, there were no additional injuries. Emergency responders worked quickly to remove the occupants safely from the burning vehicle before it was extinguished.
