On September 9, authorities executed multiple search warrants on a residence in Fort Mitchell, resulting in the arrest of 40-year-old Jorge Renteria on serious trafficking charges. During a press conference held on Wednesday morning, Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor detailed the operation that targeted Renteria’s household on Bradley Road. The execution of five search warrants revealed a concerning quantity of illegal items inside the property.

- 2.2 pounds of marijuana
- 97 hydrocodone pills
- 63 firearms
- $11,000 in cash

Renteria was promptly taken into custody and charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance. As per WTVM, the sheriff’s office is collaborating with the district attorney’s office to potentially seize further assets, including three bank accounts and the main residence of the suspect.
