Greenville, NC – A 36-year-old man was arrested on September 10 following a major drug and firearms operation conducted by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office, authorities said.
Drug and Firearms Seizure
Detectives from the Special Operations Unit and the Gang and Gun Unit, with help from the Community Patrol Unit, executed a search warrant at two residences on Slauter Street in Greenville.
During the search, authorities seized six firearms along with illegal narcotics.
Arrest and Charges
Brandon Langley Tyson, 36, faces multiple charges, including:
- Level 1 Trafficking Cocaine
- Felony Possession With Intent to Sell or Distribute (PWISD) Cocaine
- Felony PWISD Marijuana
- Felony Maintaining a Dwelling Place for Controlled Substances
- Possession of a Stolen Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Tyson was transported to the Pitt County Detention Center where he remains held without bond, according to reports.
Investigation
The operation is part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics in Greenville.
