Riverside, CA – A 31-year-old man accused of human trafficking and exploiting an underage girl online has been arrested and extradited to Southern California, where he now faces multiple felony charges.
Suspect Arrested in Arizona After Online Sex Ads Found
Authorities confirmed that Deirdrick Dayvon Bradford, age 31, was taken into custody on October 14 in Phoenix, Arizona, following a multi-agency investigation. Officials say Bradford allegedly trafficked and advertised an underage girl for commercial sex in Phoenix, Los Angeles County, and Riverside County.
The investigation began in mid-August when the Riverside Police Department discovered that the minor victim was being promoted for prostitution through an online platform. Detectives quickly launched a probe, uncovering evidence that pointed toward Bradford as the suspect responsible for managing and profiting from the illegal operation.
Collaborative Effort Leads to Arrest
With support from the U.S. Marshals Service and Arizona law enforcement, investigators tracked Bradford to Phoenix. He was arrested without incident and initially booked into custody in Arizona before being extradited to California to face charges.
Bradford has been charged on suspicion of human trafficking, pimping, and possession of child pornography, as per KTLA.
After being transported to Riverside County, he was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside, where he remains held on $85,000 bail.
Police Praise Vice Unit’s Quick Action
Riverside Police Chief Larry Gonzalez praised the coordinated law enforcement effort that led to Bradford’s arrest.
“This investigation highlights the outstanding work of our Vice Unit and their relentless efforts to protect victims of human trafficking,” said Chief Gonzalez. “We were able to locate and arrest a dangerous offender who tried to evade justice. This collaboration ensures that those who exploit the vulnerable are brought to answer for their crimes.”
Officials added that the department continues to work closely with other agencies to identify and rescue potential victims of trafficking in Southern California.
