- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime
The suspect reportedly called 911 himself to report the shootings after the fatal attack.

“They just don’t have a heart, I guess. They were letting him live in their house.”
Another neighbor, Sanaa Pygatt, recounted seeing police respond with guns drawn as Duberry emerged from the home.
Suspect’s Motive
According to the arrest warrant, Duberry told investigators he had grown “tired of them and just wanted to be alone.” Police allege that he did not know how many times he shot his mother and stepfather beyond the first headshots.
