SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. — A coordinated effort by local and regional law enforcement led to the arrest of Megan T. Sequeira, following the discovery of a significant quantity of suspected narcotics at her residence on Tuesday.
The Scottsville Police Department (SPD), working alongside the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, Warren County Drug Task Force, and Kentucky State Police, obtained and executed an arrest warrant at Sequeira’s home located at 529 Old Port Oliver Road.
Large Quantity of Drugs Seized During Investigation
Detectives reported that the search uncovered:
- 144 grams of suspected methamphetamine
- Other suspected narcotics
- US currency
- Suspected marijuana
- Items consistent with drug trafficking
Authorities confirmed to WNKY that the evidence indicated Sequeira’s involvement in trafficking controlled substances.
Charges Filed Against Megan T. Sequeira
Sequeira was served with the warrant and faces multiple charges, including:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree – drug unspecified
- Persistent felony offender
- Possession of marijuana
Following her arrest, Sequeira was lodged at the Allen County Detention Center.
Investigation Continues
The SPD emphasized that the investigation is still ongoing, and authorities continue to work to dismantle illegal drug operations in the area. Officials urged residents to report any suspicious activity to help law enforcement maintain community safety.
