107th District State Representative Stephen Harding Announces Bid for the 30th State Senate District Seat this November

107TH District State Representative Stephen Harding is running for the 30th State Senate District seat this November.

“As a state we continue to face daunting challenges,” he said. “We need to improve our business climate and find more ways to make Connecticut more affordable. I am committed to working to make the 30th Senate District a safer and economically stronger community.”

“Senator Miner and myself worked closely over the past several years in Northwestern Connecticut and I look forward to continuing to support common sense laws that will make our communities a more prosperous and safer place to work and live.”

Steve, 34, and his wife, Kelly, live in Brookfield with their two children Carter and Piper.

He was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 2012 and has been practicing law for eight years.

Steve was first elected to represent the 107th District in a special election in February 2015 representing Brookfield, Danbury & Bethel.

He is the ranking member of the Environment Committee and serves on the Judiciary and Government Administration.

The 30th Senate District will consist of 18 towns after the 2022 redistricting and will include: Brookfield, New Milford, Torrington, Winchester/Winsted, Sherman, New Fairfield, Canaan, North Canaan, Cornwall, Goshen, Kent, Litchfield, Morris, Salisbury, Sharon, Warren, Washington and Bethlehem.
