Have you heard? Bethel Arts has been hosting a new outdoor music event called “Music in the Courtyard” located at the Bethel ARTSPACE gallery at 91 Greenwood Avenue in Bethel, CT. Along with the live acoustic instrumental and vocals music, it also features an indoor art exhibition in the ARTSPACE gallery simultaneously.
Michael and Mary Frances Vaughan have worked diligently in the first half of 2016 to bring you “Music in the Courtyard” using their time and resources to prepare the space. Mary Frances even trimmed the shrubbery and planted flowers herself and her family helped to hang the lighting. Flowers were donated by Hollandia, she said. This provided a wonderful outdoor space for residents to hear a local flavor of original music performed by musicians such as Union Rail, Michael, Brenton and Aaron Vaughan, Kyle Trocolla, Elipses, Raccoon, Justin Virga, Dean & Doug, Roger Sprung and the Trunk Band, and many more.
