Danbury, CT​– Trailer Box Project will present the “Trailer Box Project Holiday Extravaganza,” an exhibition of artist-­made ornaments displayed within a fantastical and immersive forest installation. The *exhibit opens on November 21st, coinciding with the popular Ann’s Place Festival of Trees, and will run through December 30th. One hundred percent of the proceeds of the Holiday Extravaganza will be donated to Ann’s Place in Danbury, Connecticut.

“Trailer Box Project selected Ann’s Place as their mission is dear to our hearts; two Trailer Box Project artists were aided in their time of need by the compassionate services Ann’s Place provides,” explains Jim Felice, founder of Trailer Box Project. “Trailer Box Project believes that the assistance that Ann’s Place offers to individuals and families dealing with cancer are an enormous service to the community, and we are honored to support them.”

Trailer Box Project, a project space and gallery in Danbury, Connecticut is dedicated to assisting groundbreaking artists in sharing their concepts with the public. Sculptor Jim Felice founded the project to foster an environment of generosity, both for the artists that exhibit there and for the surrounding community.

The ornaments, created by twenty artists who have exhibited in the Trailer Box Project gallery space, will be on display in two locations. Chef Robin Grubard of the Daily Fare cafe, located at the Bethel train station, will hang several of the artist ­made ornaments in her windows, and will be donating food to the Trailer Box Project opening reception at 5:00pm, November 21st. The ornaments will be available for purchase at the Daily Fare Monday through Friday, from 6:00am to 2:00pm. Both the Daily Fare cafe and Trailer Box Project will be submitting trees to The Festival of Trees.

Ann’s Place, a​compassionate non­profit serving Connecticut and Hudson Valley, provides people dealing with cancer and their families with counseling, support groups, wellness activities, and educational resources. There is absolutely no charge for the use of their facility and services.

Members of the general public are invited to attend the opening reception on Saturday, November 21st from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Trailer Box Project, 15 Great Pasture Rd, Unit 15 in Danbury. Operating hours for the exhibition are Thursday through Saturday, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, or by appointment.
