On Monday, U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, will ride the Waterbury Branch Rail Line from Waterbury to Bridgeport to hear directly from Metro-North passengers about the reliability and safety of the rail service. During his trip, Murphy will hand out surveys to riders to receive feedback on what improvements need to be made.

WATERBURY —On Monday, U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, will ride the Waterbury Branch Rail Line from Waterbury to Bridgeport to hear directly from Metro-North passengers about the reliability and safety of the rail service. During his trip, Murphy will hand out surveys to riders to receive feedback on what improvements need to be made. Waterbury Mayor Neil O’Leary will board the train with Murphy in Waterbury, and Naugatuck Mayor Bob Mezzo, Beacon Falls First Selectman Christopher Bielik, Ansonia Mayor David Cassetti, Derby Mayor Anita Dugatto, and State Senator Joe Crisco will board the train to ride with Murphy from stations in each of their towns.

Once the train arrives at the Bridgeport Metro-North station, Murphy will hold a press conference with Jim Gildea, Vice Chair of the Connecticut Commuter Rail Council, as well as the mayors, and First Selectman Bielik to discuss what he learned from passengers aboard the train. Murphy will also discuss his efforts to secure increased federal funding for rail infrastructure and safety upgrades in Southwestern Connecticut.

I finally got seriously started on FFXIII-2 and I’m enjoying it, although the Mog Clock thing is going to drive me up the wall because as it turns out I am pretty terrible at figuring out where things are to smack them with my sword.
