Outages: 662 Eversource Customers Without Power in Bethel
Bethel Advocate was on the scene at Route 302 and Route 58 in Bethel, Connecticut after a tree limb fell on top of a car in a resident’s driveway and knocked down electrical wiring into the road. Traffic is at a crawl in the area and the surrounding area is without power. We also saw some smaller debris from trees on Judd Avenue that was quickly moved by Bethel Police.
Bethel Police have the situation under control and are directing traffic due to the downed wires which also knocked out all traffic lights at that busy intersection.
Eversource reports a total of 662 customers affected of 8515 served in Bethel, with outages from wind or storms causing damage in the area. See map and outage report below:
