Newtown Action Alliance Hoping to Join Parkland Students During ‘March For Our Lives’ Demonstration on March 24th
In a Facebook post on their page the Newtown Action Alliance wrote:
“The students from Parkland are saying #NeverAgain after a gunman with weapons of war gunned down their peers and teachers in their school one week ago and they will be marching for their lives on March 24th in Washington D.C.
“Having lived through the same school shooting tragedy, the Newtown students feel compelled to stand with the Parkland students and they are interested in joining them at the #MarchForOurLives in Washington D.C.
“The cost to charter one bus from Newtown is more than $3,000 for a day-trip and we hope to raise enough funds to send many busloads of Newtown students to the march so that they can meet the Parkland students to stand side-by-side with them to demand action from the President and the 115th Congress.
