Fundraising Page Set Up for Family from Bethel Fire Today

A GoFundMe page has been set up by Jennifer Leavitt for the family that lived on Judd Avenue in Bethel, CT, and whose home endured a major fire earlier today

$1,240 of $10,000 goal has been raised by 13 people in 9 hours so far.

The GoFundMe page reads:

Help Pecks After Fire & Loss

“Michelle and her children, Jaime and Jack, lost everything they owned, and their cat, to a catastrophic home fire early today, after the dryer exploded. Let’s help in any way we can.

“Michelle is being released from the hospital and the Red Cross is putting the family up in a hotel until they can regroup and find a new home. The generosity of friends and strangers is so heartwarming!”
