Danbury & Ridgefield Emergency Services Respond to a Two Vehicle Accident with One Victim Entrapped

Danbury CT – At approximately 12:20 am on September 27, 2018, Danbury Emergency Services were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the area of the Duchess Restaurant on Mill Plain Road.

First arriving City of Danbury Police Department units notified dispatch that there was a two vehicle accident with one victim entrapped in a vehicle.

Danbury Fire and EMS units arrived and found three injured persons, one requiring extrication, from one vehicle. That victim was removed by members of Engine 26 and placed into the care of Danbury Hospital EMS units.

Two additional victims were transported by ambulance to the hospital, with the assistance of Ridgefield CT Fire Department Ambulance.

Deputy Chief Bernie Meehan was the incident commander and fire units remained on the scene assisting the police department until approximately 2am.
