It has been an honor, being your advocate the last two years, and fighting on your behalf, especially when Governor Malloy and his out-of-touch allies threaten massive cuts to local education funding and the contemplated additional taxes, tolls and more bad budget policies.
We have made major strides the last two years to transform and reform the way state government is run, but there is still much more to accomplish.
- DEFEATED TOLLS!
- PASSED a no-tax increase budget
- SUCCEEDED in eliminating tax on Social Security & Pensions
- PREVENTED Malloy from raiding municipal aid
- PROTECTED education funding
- REINSTATED the Medicaid Savings Plan
- STOPPED Malloy’s new tax proposals on cell phones, tires & credit card
- IMPLEMENTED spending controls on the state checkbook & credit card
- RESTORED funding for CT Veterans Affairs

Will Duff and his wife Dasha are residents of Bethel – home to his family for generations. He manages a family business, an experience that’s shown him the negative impact that the state government has on job creations and the people who are needed to fuel the Connecticut recovery. He served on numerous Bethel municipal boards such as Board of Selectman, Board of Education, Town Constable, Public Utilities commission presently on the Board of assessment appeals. Earning a reputation for the kind of accountability and fiscal conservatism sorely needed in Hartford.
