Congratulations to the Bethel and Danbury Cheerleaders!!!
The USA Wildcats (organization name) “Senior Elite” Team (team name), several members from Bethel, won an at-large bid to the Cheerleading Worlds in Florida this April. They are a Small Senior Co-Ed Level 5 team.
Bethel team members are Jenna LaBree, sophomore, Danielle Sekelsky, freshman, and Nicole Freitas is a Junior at Danbury High School.
The team is comprised of 19 athletes from all over CT, NY, and MA. Some travel over an hour each way for practice 3 times a week which is in Naugatuck, CT.
They won the bid at the Spirit Cheer National competition that was held this past weekend in Atlantic City, NJ. They will also be competing in Washington DC this year and Atlanta, Georgia as well as Providence, RI and Hartford, CT where they will try and win a full paid bid to the Cheerleading Worlds.
