Bethel Police Arrest Man Threatening to Shoot Another Man, Related to Ongoing Police Investigation

Bethel Police arrested Terral Belin, age 23, black, address 32 Oil Mill Rd Unit 31 Danbury, CT, at 1:49 a.m. on April 3, 2017. Place of arrest was 20 Chestnut Street Bethel, CT.  Belin was charged with Threatening 2nd degree C.G. S. 53a-62.

Bethel police received a complaint from a man who stated that he was threatened with physical violence by a person he knows in relation to another ongoing police investigation. The complainant identified Terral Belin as the person who threatened him and alleged that Belin made comments and physical motions which led the complainant to believe that Belin was threatening to shoot him. The claims were corroborated by a third party witness and Belin was later located and arrested. He was released on a $1,500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court at 10:00 am on April 17 ,2017.
