Bethel Chamber of Commerce Looking to Hire a Special Events Coordinator

Have you been told that you know to how to throw a good party or event?  The Bethel Chamber of Commerce is now accepting resumes for a new Events Coordinator position.

The Special Events Coordinator will report to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors and be responsible for the planning of the Chambers Special Events.  These event include but are not limited to SummerFest, Trick or Treat Street, BeerFest, and the Tree Lighting Ceremony.  We are looking for a self starter, with strong communication skills, can remain calm under pressure, possess strong computer, negotiation and sales skills, is organized, and a problem solver.  The position is a part-time contract & pay is to be negotiated.

  1. That comment about learning to teach only counts if you have the knowledge in the first place. A specific uneadgrrduate degree with teaching certificate would make it more likely that teachers know the material. Nice to have an Education department that doesn’t seem to believe in education.

It shouldn’t be a problem with normal use, but I guess if you have tenants who are not so careful the things like the harboard-covered upstairs walls could be damaged more easily than the walls of a normal house and also the rendering of the downstairs walls outside can be damaged by heavy impact.
