After Cuts in Funding, the Bethel High School Marching Band Needs Your Support to Help Raise $5,000

Maddy Wachnuik has created a fundraising page on snap-raise.com for the Bethel High School Marching Band, with a goal of $5,000.

She said, “Hello, as many of you are aware, the Connecticut Education Department is drastically cutting funding for many schools, including Bethel High School. This money was used for staff, classes, sports and extra curricular activities, one of which is the Marching Band. Our band is a both state and nationally winning team, but in order for another successful and fun season, fundraising is necessary. Attached is a fundraising company, similar to go fund me. Please consider donating for our bands program, even a few dollars would help make a difference. Thank you!”

DONATE HERE: The fundraising page can be found by clicking here.

A message from Bethel High School music teacher Mr. Damon Coachman, reads, “Bethel High family, friends, and fans! Thank you so much for taking the time to view our fundraiser page. Your support will help us offer a higher quality music experience for all our kids. Your donation could be tax deductible and you will be getting a receipt for your gift. If you could please spread the word about our fundraiser by sharing it with your friends on Facebook and Twitter we would greatly appreciate it. Our young performers have been working hard to properly represent this great school and town. Any support is greatly appreciated!!”
