Wine and Food Tasting Fundraiser at the Bethel Public Library, Sept. 29
The Bethel Public Library Board of Directors is sponsoring the Library’s 6th Annual Wine and Food Tasting fundraiser on Tuesday September 29, 6-9 pm, at the Bethel Public Library, 189 Greenwood Avenue.
The wine vendor coordination is by Central Package Store, and a number of local restaurants will be providing food for tasting. Admission to the popular event is $40 per person. Guests will receive a complimentary commemorative wine glass and the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and raffle. All proceeds will be used to benefit the Bethel Public Library. Join us for a great evening to support a great cause! Reservations are required. All Bethel Public Library events are open to the public and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the Library at least two weeks prior to the event to make arrangements.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea
shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter
and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell
to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
